The media center belongs to the entire school community, so you are expected to do your part to keep it a friendly and educational environment.
 
Rules:

• A signed pass is required to enter the media center during scheduled class time.
• Students may visit the media center before school and during their assigned lunch period (must get permission to leave cafeteria).
• Enter and work quietly.  Cell phone use is NOT permitted.
• Respect others and all media center property.
• NO food or drinks.
• Check in with your ID card and present it to check out books or use computers.
• Come prepared with work to do or something to research or read.
• Respect each other and avoid distracting or disrupting your fellow users or the staff.
• Actively use the computer for educational purposes or move to a desk so that others may use that computer.
• Use your available resources.  We have databases, e-Books and print collections to help you.
• Ask for help from a staff member if you need something.

Consequences:

2. Expulsion from the media center/Referral


​Students are expected to act responsibly while in the media center.  Standard rules that apply in the classroom also apply in the media center.  Computers are reserved for students who need to complete an assignment.
